Graduate Student Travel Grants
Travel grants are provided by RAK CAM to support student attendance and participation at IWAM. Undergraduate students and graduate students conducting research in the field of material science are eligible to apply.
To apply for a travel grant, you must submit an abstract for presentation at IWAM and ask your research professor to send a letter of recommendation to IWAM.RAKCAM@gmail.com by the deadline. In fairness to all students, travel grant requests and letters of recommendation will not be accepted after the deadline.

Student travel grant details:
- Travel grants will be selected by our committee and students will be notified of financial support to attend IWAM by email.
- If you are awarded a travel grant to support your participation, you must attend 100% of the IWAM workshop.
- Your advisor must email a letter or recommendation no later than the deadline, you will be notified if you are selected for a travel grant at the same time you are notified if your abstract was selected for a presentation.
- In fairness to others, no late submission will be accepted.
